IMPORTANT NOTICE – TERMINATION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM THE U.S. EMBASSY IN PRAGUE
We regret to inform you that the U.S. Embassy in Prague has discontinued financial support for non-profit organizations as of January 31, 2025. This change is linked to the beginning of Donald Trump's new presidential term, as a result of which our festival is no longer receiving support.
Due to this funding suspension, we are compelled to make changes to the festival program—some planned activities will be canceled, the program will be shortened, and the participation of some guests will be limited. We deeply regret this situation, but we firmly believe that we will be able to re-establish cooperation after the end of this presidential term.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to future cooperation.

Why is it important to talk about human rights?
Talking about human rights is essential because these rights are the foundation of dignity, justice and equality for every person. Awareness and protection of human rights helps us to face discrimination, injustice and suppression of freedoms, which are problems that still exist around the world. Discussion of human rights fosters empathy, broadens awareness of global and local challenges, and inspires active involvement in their protection. Without open dialogue and education on this topic, we risk overlooking the injustices that undermine the core values of a free society.
